Outlet Shopping: Europe!

I'm back with an informative short post on my Europe trip. This time it's about outlet shopping! To be honest, I'm very excited to go there and get my hands on Prada goods.

Prada lovers, you're in luck in Florence. The Mall Outlet at Florence is good enough! The prices there for bags are so cheap as compared to Singapore. It's about €700-€900?! I got mine for just €740 before tax deduction. Which works out to be approximately S$1,100! Cheap right, and I love the colour and the size of it. I got this blush/cream wallet for €180 and a cardholder for €75 (prices before tax). A standard new arrival bag from Prada at it's city boutique cost approx. €1,800 *gasp*

To get to The Mall. Just head to the bus station right next to the Santa Maria Novella Station. You will need to cross the road to get across. At the bus terminal, you can get your 2-way tickets to The Mall. There's fixed timing. So be sure to get there early and queue for a seat. I would go for the first timeslot. Be there first to get a better selection!

At The Mall, there's plenty of brands. Like Gucci, Burberry etc. But the most value for money is Prada. Compared to Gucci and brands like Balenciaga, Prada's price points is the best.

Once at Prada, get your "number ticket" from the guy at the entrance, and proceed to shop! Use the number to reserve items and upon payment to get your items. There's plenty of tourist there. So you might find yourself spending 1-3hrs there. Queuing for payment takes quite a while as well. You can get the staff there to reserve your goods for you for about an hour. Usually black coloured items are sold out quickly. So snap fast! Also, they tend to have extra stocks. So do check if they have new pieces. Men's wallets there are quite limited but the styles are simple and nice! So you'll be happy to know that. It's price is also around €180.

While I didn't have the time to make it to SPACE (Prada/Miu Miu Outlet). I wish I was able to head there! Heard the selections are good there.

The other outlet mall I went was the Castel Romano at Rome. This area of shopping does not have Prada. But it has high end brands like Burberry to street brands like Adidas and Fossil. There's a huge HM looming near the area. Which I didn't manage to go. My mum said the things there were super cheap. So I guess you can spend a total of at least 3-4hours here. If not more. I personally bought quite a number of items for Fossil. Love the leather and it's price! You can get mini wallets at €20-50. Awesome? Hell yeah.

Floral Prints and The Likes

Flower Overload, Not.

If you know me at all, you'd know I'm not one who wears/embraces floral prints. But I guess there are good days whereby you can put on anything and just "Screw it, I'm heading out in this."

This so happens to be one of the day! I feel like a walking pot of plant. Happy plant. My friend exclaimed "You're so flowery today!". AW, THANKS! Somedays I like going monochrome, somedays I really just want to do colours. I'm not sure what I like best, just going with whatever I'm feeling that day. So, going street-style with flora prints is the way to go for people who doesn't look that good in them! (Like me) I've already added more "girly" prints to my wardrobe. Tsk.

Le Bowlers

When I lost my Topshop Suede Fedora at Bangkok, I was seriously kicking my own feet for that. And I've been on a prowl to hunt for the next replacement. After quite a few other wide-brimmed hats. I finally got a perfect one! This one's from ASOS. I love it so much. My current fave at the moment (Other than my Huf caps)

I guess one day I'll go a "guide" for shopping online. Since I do shop at international sites very often and how to score amazing shoes!

Blooming.

So I've always been tempted to get a pair of New Balance. I agree it looks good. Especially on guys. But physically, the shoe is not flattering for girls who just want to streamline their body. But maybe one day I would get it. I don't know. The shoe-whore in me can never say never. But anyway, I'm so glad to have this pair of Nike Air Max Light!

I love how it has a sharper head. Definitely a must for all my shoes. I can't wear rounded heads. Also, I'm pretty please with the extra height! And it's actually quite comfortable. Haven't actually tried on for one full day yet though.

Got my nails done today and it's currently in one of my favourite colours. Coral! I'm a warm skin tone. Hence this colour very much complements me. Also, brought my JC Play sneakers out today during dinner. The feeling of donning on a new pair of shoes is... awesome. Especially to a shoe-holic like yours truly.

Dim Sum Mania

Lunch out at Tim Ho Wan because I was craving for dim sum so badly. My favourites have changed! I no longer fancy their famous Baked Pork Buns and Steamed Prawn Dumplings/Har Gow. Instead, I love the Spinach Dumplings with Shrimps and their Congee! So good! We ordered like 11 dishes just for 2 of us. Damn epic and we managed to clear all. Each dim sum cost between $3.80 - $6, pretty affordable. But if you eat like I do, be prepared to fork out $30/pax.

Oh and I happen to meet my friend, Marqkyo, there. So nice to see her! You know the feeling of meeting someone you like even though you haven't seen each other for the longest time and had barely know each other previously but you just think he/she is an incredible person? Yupp, that's the feeling.

Wind.

With our little red dot's weather being like this, it's mandatory to put on as many layers as possible (thin layers included). Anyway! This was last Saturday with my bbg catching the movie,"Frozen". It's such an amazing show! Hilarious and heart-warming much. Disney never fails to impress with their animation. Yeah I know it's a cartoon, but it's THAT good. Go catch it!

Stripes (Again)

Running around on Saturday, getting Lunar New Year goodies and did some shopping! Lunch with Sandra over at Tiong Bahru Bakery (Raffles City) Albeit too run-down to me. Bread was so-so too. But the desserts look so yummy! Thereafter was LNY dinner with the relatives and night outs with my girls. 

What a day.

"So this is how death feels like." - It was running through my head when I woke up with just a mere 3hours of sleep and a gastric stomach. Well, at least I don't do this that often.

Super adore my houndstooth nail. Though it lasted like, a SUPER short while.
