Floral Prints and The Likes

Flower Overload, Not.

If you know me at all, you'd know I'm not one who wears/embraces floral prints. But I guess there are good days whereby you can put on anything and just "Screw it, I'm heading out in this."

This so happens to be one of the day! I feel like a walking pot of plant. Happy plant. My friend exclaimed "You're so flowery today!". AW, THANKS! Somedays I like going monochrome, somedays I really just want to do colours. I'm not sure what I like best, just going with whatever I'm feeling that day. So, going street-style with flora prints is the way to go for people who doesn't look that good in them! (Like me) I've already added more "girly" prints to my wardrobe. Tsk.

Blooming.

So I've always been tempted to get a pair of New Balance. I agree it looks good. Especially on guys. But physically, the shoe is not flattering for girls who just want to streamline their body. But maybe one day I would get it. I don't know. The shoe-whore in me can never say never. But anyway, I'm so glad to have this pair of Nike Air Max Light!

I love how it has a sharper head. Definitely a must for all my shoes. I can't wear rounded heads. Also, I'm pretty please with the extra height! And it's actually quite comfortable. Haven't actually tried on for one full day yet though.

Ola! Today I received my package. First time ordering from this particular site that stocks amazing street stuffs. Very pleased with all the caps amongst other items too! I got this gorgeous 5 panel HUF cap and it's my favourite one (for now that is). 

Wore this outfit for Chinese New Year dinner earlier with family and b. Watched Legend of Hercules and it was mad boring. I actually fell asleep. The storyline is too overly romantic/mushy for my liking.

PVS 1st Anniversary: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Last Night was P.V.S 1st Anniversary! If you didn't already know, they are the store to go for your Jeffrey Campbell fix. They also stock New Balance, Dr Martens etc. Do check it out!

I was absolutely ecstatic to be there(!) If you know me, I love Jeffrey Campbell forever and ever and I can just go on. So yes, this is an event I have to NOT miss. I really love they put in a lot of effort in the pimping up the place. With lovely pinatas hanging at the tops, novelty chocolates, gorgeous adorable balloons, and also the gifts. One thing I like about this was seeing other people in their JCs too! I, myself hardly see anyone in them when I'm out. So I'm so glad to spot people in "crazy shoes". Whats not to love about those awesome kicks.

Finally brought out the floral bomber jacket I got sometime ago. Really like the oriental prints on it.

A simple outfit can be made more complex by a tie-around!

Lately I've been sporting on my Studded Superga! These are so understated and also what I liked to call it "hipster-ish" Hence it's been my to-go shoe for recent days/weeks. I've got a new pair in! And two more are on the way! Can't wait for the right time to wear them.

Date Night

with Hunger Games and awesome chicken rice. I'm so glad that there is great hawker fare in town (Far East Plaza level 4) It just might be my new favourite place to go! Hunger Games: Catching Fire was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and the whole storyline. Great show!

Xmas is coming and I can't wait to celebrate it and get all my presents all wrapped up. Oh yes, 2 more weeks till my birthday! I'm so excited.

I didn't take much photos last week. Attended a baby's first year birthday which I enjoyed very much and that was that. Today isn't the normal TGIF. But, it is the awesome Black Friday as well!

Attended the Topshop x Digital Fashion Week some time ago and I must say that their events are so so thoughtfully organised! One can never not feel at home with the stuff they did at the events. There's finger food, drinks, awesome selection of soundtrack, special promos and even a pop-up bar at the store! Well done Topshop Sg.
