A YEAR OLDER...
A YEAR OLDER...
AND HERE'S MY THOUGHTS
I guess I should stop imposing my ideals on people. Like what I deem important is not to the others. Like for example, taking photos of every moment is important to me. But for others, they do not feel that way or remember that I like it that way. So I really need to be more patient and understanding. No more nonsense behaviour from me.
I do not know what I want yet. So let's just do what I've been doing. Conversations with strangers are easier now overseas and I think that is because of all the travelling I've been doing. I hope more experiences abroad will have an even greater improvement in holding a conversation!
Everyone has their own faults, including myself. So let's just forgive each other and learn to understand and let go. Especially to my family. However, some people who haven't grown the shit up, well, good luck to you in the society.
No matter how close you were with someone before, things can change. Maybe with partners you can do what you please, but for friends I think there should always be a mutual decision. I've grown so much since before, and cutting ties from such people is unwanted but needed to.
I also learned that setting resolutions don't work very well at all. I guess one has to do what they gotta do when the time comes. Hopefully I can faster sign on to my Korean language class next year! And perhaps advance my Japanese language skills?! Not too sure though, because the Chinese characters or Kanji is killing me so much. ohgod.
As for him, I fall in love each time I see him again.
I guess life is good so far. To the uncertainties ahead and to the courage to conquer more adventures.
CHEERS!

Black Friday
Last Week's.
I didn't take much photos last week. Attended a baby's first year birthday which I enjoyed very much and that was that. Today isn't the normal TGIF. But, it is the awesome Black Friday as well!

ARE YOU READY?!
*fingers cross*
I'm so ready for the Black Friday Sale. If I manage to score my loots, I'll be posting them up here!

Day 3 Tokyo, Japan - DisneySea (Part 2)
After such a long while, I've decided to continue with my Tokyo Trip photo post! If you've missed out on the previous ones. Here's the links below x
Let's get started!
Everytime there's a photo-worthy prop, pose! After we took this shot, we saw quite a few people wanting to take with it too! Monkey see, monkey do?
With the huge ass temple backdrop. Here's where I took single rider seats for the 2 rollar coasters! My friend just doesn't do thrill rides. But I love it so much! There's no rides I won't take, unless it's water ride. I can't fathom the idea why people like getting themselves wet. Especially for us girls, the makeup and hair must stay intact please. The weather is mad hot already and sweating like anything, the last thing I swear I want is to look like a drenched sheep.
Cute O' Goofy
Full of antics and so funny! I think I got a fangirl hug.
The place where Duffy-fanatics shop. I'm so glad I don't even fancy them.
At DisneySea, Japanese mothers and their kids all dressed up in super adorbs outfit! And you can see them hanging lots of stuff everywhere and carrying ALL kinds of souvenir. Like those refillable popcorn boxes. It's not cheap you know, but I do think it's cute though. Notice the little guy on the left? He looks like the scout kid from the movie "Up"!
Minnie's "footprints" are seen everywhere.
Getting my second Fast Pass! But in the end I didn't get to ride the Tower of Terror because it is schedule at 5pm. Honestly, my legs was already breaking before that. DisneySea is so big!
So excited when I saw this! So cute!?!?!?!
Officially infatuated with any unicorns. #sorrynotsorry for the child in me. I'm still embracing the fact that I'm still a kid at heart. It's good to be/feel young you'know.
Here's a huge ass photo of me and my buttercup.
_
That's all for now and I'm not done with DisneySea. I'll continue in the next post.
Hello, I took A LOT of photos in Japan. Soooooo, there'll be many many posts on it.
Till then!

Modern Boho
Sunday's
Was in a rush to gym and sans makeup, hence the lack of "proper" photos. But here's what I wore anyway. I had a good Sunday going for a run, doing yoga and running errands in my fedora and boots. Lately I appreciate the ease of wearing one piece outfit! So easy to slip on and humid-proof.
This paisley print light denim dress is upcoming from Unbound.

One F* Summer
Lately I've been wearing more of black and white. But nothing stops me from a burst of colours like this neon yellow sheer socks. I adore it so much. It's an instant mood lifter I'm telling you.
_
So now, on to another topic that has been occupying my mind. How do you define beauty? Is it all about the superficial or is it about the heart. With the "trend" of plastic surgery taking over the whole world by storm, I find myself questioning what exactly makes one beautiful. Is it the perfect silicon body, or that manga eyes and ultra-sharp nose? With more and more clones out there, how do you compare. And how would you even compare if you are not one of those supposedly "gorgeous" one?
While some thinks the idea of plastic surgery is taboo, what about makeup? Isn't makeup artificial as well? With so many tools out there to beautify one. One can change their looks 180 degrees.
So with that. Is there really a difference between plastic surgery and makeup? I don't see any difference. But yet I appreciate the natural features sans makeup. I see that as what makes us an individual. Something unique.
I guess there is no point going the extreme mile to make yourself more beautiful when there is always someone even more beautiful (superficially). Whatever it is, find your comfort zone where you are your only Queen. With surgery or without, with makeup or without. Whichever makes you happiest, do it.

Festival Get-up
Myth oversized hoodie, Unbound polka dot bralet (www.ShopUnbound.com), MDS side panel shorts, Fedora from Aussie, Topshop and Stradivarius Arm candy
Someone mentioned to me that I do not look local in this outfit. And I take it as a compliment. I have no intention of dressing up as locals. I enjoy looking like a tourist. How I wish the weather here is cooler. Then I'll have absolutely no qualms putting on hats/scarfs, layering clothes and wearing boots.
Lately there is news of HAIL in our little island. REALLY? Is it a sign of cooler weather to come?

Question of the day.
Here's a food for thought. "Style for thought" actually.
Would you consider someone having great style by wearing just a one-piece outfit? Does it qualify as being stylish? In my opinion, I really don't see someone donning on a single item (be it a extraordinary looking one) as a stylish person. Style, in my world, is whereby different individual pieces are being put together by one. Thereby giving the "complete outfit" a life of its own.
I've recently read an article about personal style. And it struck me that I myself can't really classify what exactly is my style. There's so many ways to be classified as. There is the feminine lady to the avant grande The article mentioned somewhere along the line that your friends might have said before, "Oh this is so you!" or "This is completely your style la!" (Singlish intended) So what can I say. Most of my friends identify anything studs, spikes, leather as my kind of thing. Yes, no doubt about that. But given the 3 words, studs, spikes, leather, I imagine one as a rock star. A full-on rock star. Which, I am obviously not.
So who am I again? I have no idea, yet. What I know is that whatever I'm wearing on a particular day, it's me. I don't have an identity. I'm a mix cow with many love for fashion. Somedays I'm as plain as a plain jane. Others, I just wanna dress up all the way.
How about you out there?

A busy weekend indeed. Extremely busy Saturday especially. But I'll do it all over again in a heartbeat. Masterclass was definitely an eyeopener. There are so many different kinds of way to express yourself at so many various platforms. Truly appreciate what was taught that day. So fun! And talking about that, I attended FUN's concert last Friday, hellagood. Photos up soon, maybe. Indie rock is simply something I can get into right away. So much so that I was skipping in my footsteps till Saturday. LOL.
And now it's time for self learning.

White Studded Lace-Ups
This is my new fanta-bulous shoe. A white studded lace-ups. I love pointy shoes. Don't you?! (:
I like how it has studs all over plus little details that differentiates it from other shoes. Wore this with the outfit below!
I was wearing my tribal print Topshop high-waisted skirt in blue.
Mad love. I got another in red too!
