This trip, there was a lot of "first"s. It was my first time going overseas just for a music festival, attending umf, eating a fish I caught, being sober throughout etc.
S. managed to change his friend's ticket to my name and I also got picked for the final lucky draw to buy the tickets. So I'd say that I was meant to go ultra! Booked my tickets with Delta air and accoms was at Sunroute Ariake.
Firstly, I kinda like Delta airline. Pretty decent and affordable! Plus I love their snacks. I like airplane food so yeah this was pretty yummy according to my very low standards.
I couldn't believe I had to wake up 3am just to get to the airport. I was still ridiculously sick. I wonder how I made it in Japan in one piece. Also had to find my way to Odaiba to meet the fellas. It was already 6pm by then! Can you believe it. Obviously it's damn easy if I was healthy but everything is like 300% more complicated when you're out of it!
Went to oedo onsen monogatari! It's my first time there and while the boys got highballs, I had my ginger ale and ramen. Super famished. And we even did fishspa together. Even saying it just feels odd. The boys and me doing fishspa! I squealed when those fishes started attacking my feet. Ohlord, what an experience. I wouldn't do it again though!
So we walked, ate food, played games (thanks to A for buying me a game!), ran under the rain on pebbled stones and soaked our feet outdoors. Seriously, the boys damn supportive of whatever you do. I mean, I had immense fun because of them.
Next day, was the first day of Ultra Japan. Okay, I'm blown by how people take this seriously. You see nicely, if not very gorgeous, girls dressing up. Floral crowns, effort costumes etc. Got scanned and got the band that I'm not suppose to remove for the next 3 days.
Day one of Ultra Japan. First day ended was a bang. I had so much fun with the crazy people! But because we were right at the front, going back took awhile. Got filmed too!
With the flounder I caught! (beams megawatt smile lol)
I really like this photo a lot. Damn that expression!
SO FRESH, SO YUMS.
Friendly US blood!
Lightsticks earring present from T! It kinda hurts wearing these clip on earrings to be honest.
Japanese people really should go pierce their ears! Anyway, damn fun to wear.
Stories of my holographic heart fan...
Day two of Ultra Japan. We went fishing! Took a cab there and it's the first time too. Zauo restuarant is a novelty restuarant set in the heart of Shinjuku. You eat whatever you'd catch. Honestly I didn't think I'll have fun fishing (girls, you know right) So ya, that place was so fun! I really enjoyed myself. So I was tasked to catch the flounder. And A, was so nice to guide me and filmed my moment hahahah. Nice people are always good people. Yes!?
After which, we went back to odaiba for round two! Day two was even more fun than the first! I just remembered DJ snake was awesome. I also wore the lightsticks earrings given by T! The night ended amazing with us running towards the fireworks at 9pm. It just went BOOM BOOM BOOM. And the guys went crazy.
I have always found baseball outfits incredibly sexy.
Me and my gears.
I must say the one beside me is like the most appealing one I've seen throughout umf.
Plus he's so nice and all! Major eye candy.
Taking a break! A much needed break.
Day three of Ultra Japan. By then, I haven't slept and was totally exhausted. Anyway, went to Aquacity and got my hands on 3 Porter bags! Thereafter, met the boys and they were so drunk by then. They looked so happy just to see me ahahahaha. Even L came to give me a hug. And guess what, we were all matchy matchy! With the blues and greens. Not planned at all. So this round I started my day only at 6pm-9pm. Really no energy already haha. But it was a fun night! And I saw the fireworks from start to end while sitting on the pavement. It was a blessed moment.
Next year I'm coming back! Hoping the rest can come too! x
