NYFW: 3.1 Phillip Lim S/S 14

One of the show I'm dying to see is the 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring/Summer 14 collection. And he doesn't disappoints! This season, the use of Geodes is refreshing unlike the usual shapes and florals for spring. Geodes are those rocklike mineral formations that split open to reveal swirls of many-hued crystal. I love the theme for this season. It somewhat feels like a "Stylish Explorer" theme to me. Earth-tones, patchwork, various textures and fluid silhouette runs the show. I wonder how does he come up with such intriguing designs. It's just amazing.

The favourites of the batch. The high low leather skirt is the fave. Oriental and leather is way too chic.

Autumn Winter 2012

I dig those coats, colours, leather and everything about these looks. These spark a little fire in my heart. The reason why the fashion world is so fascinating is because of the new ideas coming through.

I'm lovin this whole look. Very high street inspired. Check out those wet-looked zipper pants. Simple individual pieces that were put together quite brilliantly. And good photography skills from the photographer as well.
