Xmas Lightings

Dying to relieve the moments of strolling down the streets during the Christmas season, two Sundays ago I managed to do so!

It was a tiring but lovely night. Snapped quite a lot of photos too! I need to do this next year again.

Ippudo

Ippudo @ Mandarin Gallery

A random date night that landed us on Ippudo. The place where we first had our first date. Pretty epic when both of us were sweating under the spotlight. Fast-forward a good 2 years and many months. Here we are back at where we started.

I had Spicy Miso Tonkotsu. Pretty yummy but not the best I've had. But the Ippudo salad is the bomb. The sauce is so yummy, it goes with everything on the salad plate. Love that it has tofu and some crispy thing in it. Not sure what they are but W told me it's something I don't wanna know. So yes! It's okay I rather not know what's in there. Being yummy is good enough for me.

It's so sad that there wasn't any salad in the menu when I tried it in Tokyo. WHY(?!)

Another highlight was the Gyoza! Delicious little juicy dumpling with vinegar. I enjoyed it so much, I wish there was 20 of them on a plate to devour it all.

It was a long day. Met C for lunch at Toss and Turn. After that was presentation in the early afternoon and had a nice time catching up with my coursemates! Met le boy and what was suppose to be a movie day out turns into a shopping one!

I succumb to buying that gold studded Superga from Tangs. I love Tangs Playlab. Stocked full of the raddest street brands. Will have photos of my new kicks soon!

And so, I ended up tronging the streets in my Jeffrey Campbell for 10hours. Quite an amazing feat. I literally went back to earth the moment I kicked these off.

MT expo was held till the 11th Aug at Ion Orchard ART gallery and I'm officially addicted to the tapes. Super gorgeous! And thus, I MT-ed my macbook pro. Looks so pretty now!

Last night homecook dinner was plain awesome. Prawn Aglio Olio and Mixed Nuggets. A very satisfying dinner (:
