It's International Day of Happiness

If our lives goes smoothly, will there be any fun? If things goes our way, will we learn to appreciate?

I'm happy now and perhaps, this is all I ask for. Smile and be happy for it is International Day of Happiness! (I'm not kidding, there really is such a day) I honestly don't believe in being unhappy and really hate negative vibes. I mean YOLO, you can choose to be happy or not.

Love!
have an awesome day

Bowen's Swag

Here's the campaign ad for Bowen's Fall 2013. The outfit is way too swag and it helps that the model is definitely living the outfit.  Accessories and clothings are paired tastefully here. Looking good in black isn't too hard eh. As shown here with just different textures to spice up the look. This style just reminds me of someone I know. Men, they should all dress way. Yes?

Shades of 5cm

Here we have Cole Mohr for the label 5cm. 5cm is a brand based in Hong Kong with an identity of being one-of-a-kind rebellious with some hints of sophistication and off-set simplicity. I would like to think of it as individual minimalistic pieces that is able to style in different ways. That being said, I like the style of this campaign. Considered a "veteran" in street style, Cole Mohr's the way to go.

Pop of Blue

I love my blues. It's actually not my favourite colour from the colour wheel. But I just have the urge to buy my threads in blue, especially navy. So here are the boys looking hot in blue. In chic knitwear and patterns, the look is anything but boring. Loving the last photo too much!

Checkered light-blue gingham poncho, check. Checkered rolled-up shorts, check. Lavender shade loafers, check. The look is too adorable and oh-so-fun.

A busy weekend indeed. Extremely busy Saturday especially. But I'll do it all over again in a heartbeat. Masterclass was definitely an eyeopener. There are so many different kinds of way to express yourself at so many various platforms. Truly appreciate what was taught that day. So fun! And talking about that, I attended FUN's concert last Friday, hellagood. Photos up soon, maybe. Indie rock is simply something I can get into right away. So much so that I was skipping in my footsteps till Saturday. LOL.

And now it's time for self learning.

Hi guys! So I did a photoshoot two days back and here are the photos. I do love the backdrops and all but I can't wait to shoot in another location. It'll probably kill me again but hey, I don't mind. It isn't autumn, but hot hot summer here. Doesn't look like it here eh?

Barbie, Not.

 Titania Inglis’ Spring '13

Here's an edgy take on romanticism, in my opinion. Loving the babydoll cut pieces in the collection. It is not the usual straight cut but rather an asymmetrical, sharp edge. Interestingly, it brings about a different flavour to the clothes. Paired with black boots, with or without knee high socks, to seal the look.

Today's Visual Inspirations

images via tumblr - fullmoonbloom

I hope you'all had a good Monday!
I feel at peace looking through tumblr with these photos that captured my attention.

Had a photoshoot today and I'm thoroughly exhausted. As tiring as it maybe, I'll gladly do it all over again. I can't believe I was in thick sweater and boots. Photos up soon!

Style Check: Paris Fashion Week

Keeping Warm In Style

images via elleuk

Street style is my favourite fashion photography I would say. Nothing is more intriguing than wondering why is that ridiculous outfit so amazing. Some people overdoes it (You know, looking more like a clown than anything else) while others simply aces at pulling off show-stopping outfits. The above are pleasing to my eye. There's various styles of sweater outfits going on. I love the get-ups. Especially the first image. Pastel pinks and blues never looked so cool. It may be the big-ass shades or that beanie on her head or simply the way she carries her chained bag. There's something interesting about that girl.

And THAT belted gold thing? What is THAT. I mean woah, that is one crazy accessory. But well, it gets all the right attention.

Ps. Pointy heels are a must. The peach-pink Valentino shoe is amazing.

I will follow you gypsy baby.

Givenchy A/W 13/14

Check these out. I'm so impressed by Givenchy's Fall 13/14 collection! How rad is this. From whimsical cartoon prints to dainty embelishments and sportswear sweater to gypsy skirts. These are my favourite looks from the collection. Others include tweed biker jacket and oversized waist attachments. Interesting elements there. Love the polka dot sheer midi and floral embellished sheer maxi and practically everything else.

Riccardo Tisci mentioned ‘This was one of the most fun collections I’ve ever done.’ And hell yeah, I couldn't agree with that statement more. Such fun visuals for the fashion eye.
