A wonderful day in my favourite colour to be dressed in. Since 1 world festival was cancelled (like really!?) I wore this jersey tee that I planned to wear for the festival. I need more of these. It's perfect for scorching hot countries like our tiny red dot.

Sun-Date

Dinner was at Saveur was yummy Saveur Pasta and Duck Confit. The duck is mind-blowingly good. And my pasta was just al dente as usual! Major love for that. We had the Salmon Confit and Pork Belly as well but they don't impress me. Salmon Confit was soft and, just soft. I like my salmon main to be cooked perfectly. And for the Pork Belly, sorrynotsorry, I don't eat half boiled eggs.

Thank you for making me realise what unconditional love is. Today we fought but we made up. I have no idea how you put making me happy above all. I'm touched by that because I know how unreasonable I can be. And because of everything you have done, I love you darling.

Adventure Cove Themepark

My awesome day out at Adventure Cove. I love the rides! But the queue for some is pretty insane. Even though we went on a weekday. The popular rides took about 30-45mins of wait under the hot sun. WHATTTTT. Anyway I was super famished by the time we are done with the rides. Food in there are not worth the money seriously. Just for some snacks for 2pax, it cost $30! I would advise everyone to please bring extra clothes and head out to eat and go back in again. Like for most attraction area, expensive but nothing-fancy food. So, one of my favourite things to do at Adventure Cove is the Rainbow Reef!

*starry eyes*

I love the beautiful fishes in there! It's the most beautiful view underwater I've ever seen. Yes I've been diving and snorkelling at so many countries but I just don't see that many variety of fishes all at once. So yes, this was an eye opener. It's really really gorgeous. Too bad I don't have a proper photo of it underwater. Can't forget that moment when I saw all the fishes.

The above photos of the aquatic tank was taken at the Shark Encounter after our rides!

Part 2 of the day soon!

Fashion Week: Some of My Favourite Looks

Here's a collage of my favourite looks from
the other various designers at the NYFW and LFW.

Christian Siriano Spring 2014 RTW

Emilia Wickstead Spring 2014 RTW

Helmut Lang Spring 2014 RTW

Mary Katrantzou Spring 2014 RTW

Mary Katrantzou has done it again with her amazing ability to collage and mix any prints. This time round with the theme surrounding "shoes" It's all about the details of everything cool you put on your feet. This time, it's on your body. In contrasting themes, the flora pieces were done beautifully as well.

Michael Kors Spring 2014 RTW

This man sure knows what his woman wants. I love Michael Kors a little more every season. Where he seems to pull out sophisticated yet stylish-fun pieces. I love majority of what he put out at the Spring 2014 RTW. Very good indeed.

Mulberry Spring 2014 RTW

Love the colour palette and being a huge stripes fan.
I'm adoring this collection of textures, florals, crimson and lines.

Modern Boho

Sunday's

Was in a rush to gym and sans makeup, hence the lack of "proper" photos. But here's what I wore anyway. I had a good Sunday going for a run, doing yoga and running errands in my fedora and boots. Lately I appreciate the ease of wearing one piece outfit! So easy to slip on and humid-proof.

This paisley print light denim dress is upcoming from Unbound.

One F* Summer

Lately I've been wearing more of black and white. But nothing stops me from a burst of colours like this neon yellow sheer socks. I adore it so much. It's an instant mood lifter I'm telling you.

So now, on to another topic that has been occupying my mind. How do you define beauty? Is it all about the superficial or is it about the heart. With the "trend" of plastic surgery taking over the whole world by storm, I find myself questioning what exactly makes one beautiful. Is it the perfect silicon body, or that manga eyes and ultra-sharp nose? With more and more clones out there, how do you compare. And how would you even compare if you are not one of those supposedly "gorgeous" one?

While some thinks the idea of plastic surgery is taboo, what about makeup? Isn't makeup artificial as well? With so many tools out there to beautify one. One can change their looks 180 degrees.

So with that. Is there really a difference between plastic surgery and makeup? I don't see any difference. But yet I appreciate the natural features sans makeup. I see that as what makes us an individual. Something unique.

I guess there is no point going the extreme mile to make yourself more beautiful when there is always someone even more beautiful (superficially). Whatever it is, find your comfort zone where you are your only Queen. With surgery or without, with makeup or without. Whichever makes you happiest, do it.

FAR FAR AWAY

_

Went out in the comfiest outfit for the day
featuring the NewEra Tokyo hat I recently acquired from the tokyo trip.

I had a fabulous time re-exploring the only "interesting" theme park in this tiny red dot. I came here dying to ride the Battlestar Galactica roller coaster, only to find that it was close. AGAIN. Really?! How many times do you have to do this to me. But nonetheless I had fun elsewhere with the other rides I usually don't take as frequently.

And did I mention, the photos above are taken with the new DSLR I bought. I love how the photos turned out. I haven't had a DSLR before. Yes, I know right, being the camera-crazy-one I am, I've never invested in a proper camera. But better late than never! (: I'm so glad to have this. It's an essential tool for fashion blogs.

Now, dinner was good o' steamboat. And the boy finally bought me my craftholics which we aptly named "Alluring Eyes" and "Fujisan". More on that soon!
