Agyness Deyn

I'm really falling in love with her new look! Very edgy and modern. I love especially the black skinnies paired with Dr Martens in patent brown tones with lime green lace-up! How cool is THAT. Oh please Agyness, don't ever, ever leave your hair long anymore! Definitely look more like a high fashion model now.

I'll do a summary of various designers collection for Spring/Summer 2010 on a later date. The collections are all so inspiring, bright and cheery!

Alexa Chung for Madewell

Madewell: Alexa Chung

I'm not a diehard fan of Alexa Chung. The new 'It' girl apparently. But what'd you say! This capsule collection is pleasantly nice! I like the laidback chic dressing presented here.
____

As you can see, her designs are very much what she would wear and the style is what she loves. From nautical sailor looks to girly female pieces.

Vogue Paris May 2010: Lily Donaldson

Lily Donaldson
Vogue Paris May 2010 edition

I love this shoot. It projects the strong sensual woman with a dark side to her. Someone who simply doesn't gives a thing about what others might think about her.
I like the use of drapes and different textures in this shoot. From light thin weight material to the messy textured cloth.

Paris Fashion Week 2010

Paris Fashion Week AW2010

Great use of gradient tones of the same colour. The ensemble of the blazer with the feminie dress gives it a well balanced look.

A Japanese inspired look with preppy shirt and neutral basics.

Gloves is in rage now it seems. From cutouts to different lengths to different materials!
Well, there's nothing to hate about gloves isn't it? It give an instant update to the whole outfit.

Deyn gone short?

Surprise surprise, what a new look from one of the more popular models, Agyness Deyn. Honestly, to begin with, I'd never liked her look. To me it just looks typical. Well hey, that was before. This haircut of hers might need some getting use to. But it's definitely growing on me!

The pairing of the pretty pale pink flock with lace-up booties and silver chain on her neck with orange tinted nails is gorgeous. However, I would have prefered her with a brighter makeup instead of heavy lined eyes. Good choice for bringing her shades. With her shades, her look is more polished.

10 Magazine Spring 2009 feat. Rodarte & Givenchy.

_

I love the way how the stylist for this shoot pull off something romantic, grunge, fun loving, all rolled into one fabulous spread.

Trends spotted here are the neutral basic shades, cut-outs and the ribbon bows.

I adore the use of black tights with black patent boots to give off an androgynous vibe.

Whimsical isn't it?

Proenza Schouler

Proenza Schouler, The hottest inspiration for the moment.

As featured in many fashion magazines, the Proenza Schouler Spring Summer 2010 wedge is a must have for fashionistas.

Proenza Schouler Fall 2010 collection.

The look for the collection is very much based on RocknRoll Romance as seen by flirty dresses and the use of dark elements like the Blacks.

This collection is not OTT like other fashion designers, and yet unique in how the designer manage to play with the textures and the prints. From basic electical graphic prints to using of other textures. From dark make up looks to feminine dresses, there is nothing to dislike about it.

The make up look for this collection focus on the eyes and lips while keeping everything else muted. A contrast of the fair faces and the dark make up gives a mysterious yet dangerous flair to the model.
