Day 7

Second day in Florence. Went to climb the bell tower and the dome of the Cathedral di Santa Marie. With over 400 steps each! What an exercise. But it felt to good! I would say climb both. It's good to see both views! However up the dome, there isn't any wired windows. Which make for better photos. Unlike the bell tower. Then again, only at the bell tower can you capture the Dome in all it glorious form. So, climb both! Get the all in one ticket 10euros at the bell tower. Met a super cutie pie dog, Annabelle. She's so petite and so nice smelling! I'm in love.

Next was hunting for gelato! GROM was top of the list. I'm having it everyday here. It's next to the Bell Tower in the alley. I've tried Caffe, Flordilatte, Pistacchio, Crem di Grom, Hazelnut, MilkandMint. It's all good! Love the Caffe/Espresso flavored one best!

Next was to Accademia to visit David! The famous 'Michelangelo's marbled David. Tickets are 11euros and we actually queued for it. It took us maybe a little more than an hour to get in. So that was still okay. Book in advance to stay out of the scorching sun! Accademia was quite small actually. So I'm just interested in my David. And that was all. LOL.

Dinner was at Yellow Bar. I read it from blogs and tripadvisor and it was a must try! And verdict? Yummy italian food! Love the risotto in wine sauce and their handmade pastas. VERY GOOD! Affordable and located close to the duomo. Then we walked to Ponte Vecchio. Where you can just stare and the wonderful horizon of the sunset.
